Regional Youth Team Tournament:
Two divisions: one
for teams who show at recognized shows and one for teams who show at
non-recognized shows (open shows, 4-H & fun days). Youth earn points
by placing at shows. The points accumulate during the show season and
the team with the most points win!
WAHA Judging

evaluate conformation and performance of horses, and be able to give
explanations for your choices. Compete against other teams locally and
nationally.

and national competitions. The Arabian Youth Nationals hosts a hippology
contest sponsored by Region 10 and coordinated by WAHA.
Youth Nationals:

youth horse show, featuring nearly 100 classes from lead line to top
level performance, a wide range of contests from stick horse to hippology,
and exhibitor parties specially designed for youth. AHA Youth.
Congratulations
Teal Dowling
Recipient
of the USEF Junior Equestrian of the Year award
Lexington,
KY - When asked to choose one word that best describes who she
is, Teal Dowling pauses, laughs a little and gives a word that all
who know her would heartily agree with. The word would have to be
"original," she told the panel of judges in her interview
as a finalist for 2005 USEF Junior Equestrian of the Year. The delightful
18-year-old from Spring Prairie, Wisconsin does her best to live
up to that word, charting her own course as she navigates life and
the world of equestrian sport, as the newest recipient of the USEF
Junior Equestrian of the Year award. |
